Ballarat

Satisfied local Ballarat customer was very happy to receive a completed landscape design and plan that complemented their lifestyle and daily needs. We undertook a project and completed a crazy paving pathway to the front entry of their home

Our client required a new garden in the front of their property with new pathways. The area needed a facelift, and the old cracked and broken concrete path was quite narrow and awkward. From the requirements of the customer we created a design that included widening the path significantly and introducing curves to help with access from different directions.

Our solutions and ideas for the customer

Raised and mounded garden beds would enable elevated planting and view from the home also improving privacy in the front of a busy street. Some of the plants we used were Dyanella, Agonis Flexiosa, Kangaroo Paw, Anagonsanthus, Myaporium. Gardens were constructed and topped with mulch.
Th steps were also crazy paved using bluestone paving and we ground back the edges around the steps and profiled them with a diamond grinding technique. The bluestone crazy paving was laid on a rigid concrete base and concrete grout inside the crazy paving. The curve of the paving was skilfully cut by hand to produce smooth curves and allow a red brick header to be installe
